Instrument Photography

I shoot versatile stunning high end imagery that can be used on websites, social media, for press & editorials, advertising, magazines, catalogues & POS displays.

I started photographing musical instruments when I worked at Christies Auctioneers, Brompton's set up in business in 2006 & I became their photographer, followed by Ingles & Hayday in 2012. I have worked for many dealers, makers & shops through out the UK & Europe - see my client list. I have produced images for certificates, auction catalogue's, advertising, website's & books.

I have lost count of the number for instrument's I have photographed to-date but this must be in the 1000's, I have had the privilege of photographing fabulous collection's from - The Rosenberg Collection sold in 2023 for 8.9m also The Bill Watson Bow Collection sold in 2020 & some of the oldest & most valuable instruments in the world like the Cello by J.B. Vuillaume sold in 2024 or the Sale of the Jupiter Stradivari form 1698 sold in 2019
